Hey Guys! I am listening to your podcast COL514: Trans Bear Listener.
First — GOOD JOB! Thank you for bringing up the topic of trans guys! Please note — not all trans guys are the same or have the same needs, critiques or sensitivities. MANY (not all) guys who are earlier in the process (first 5 years) can be SUPER SENSITIVE about just about everything and often have NO idea they are being that way. I know it’s not politically correct to say that – but it’s the painful truth. After a handful of years living life passing as a cis man we learn to understand the whole world is not out to make us all miserable or be disrespectful to us. ugh. Some guys can really be hard work. Just like any other community, there are some cool guys and some really ODD guys. Mileage may vary :-0
I thought I’d share some of my thoughts about what your email guest had to say:
FEMALE genitalia = In my general experience I agree, we usually prefer words like birth born parts, genetic bits, front business, ANYTHING but being reminded about the emotionally painful word “female” when you are talking about a trans guy. Testosterone makes some pretty significant changes to it and it’s not “standard issue female parts” after a short while anyhow.
JUNK = agree, just ask the guy what he wants his junk called (don’t offer options – just ask)
Bottom Surgery = not being attracted to someone who has had bottom surgery.
Again, those who HAVE HAD bottom surgery are often super sensitive about rejection (as might be expected!). There are some trans guys who have had bottom surgery realizing folks (including other trans guys) are NOT into them BECAUSE of the lower surgery choice. VERY ouchie. Very VERY ouchie (I’d imagine). That’s a lot of work mentally, surgery and money to go through to realize you just put yourself into a VERY narrow date scene. I know of two trans men who committed suicide because of this topic. Saying I’d never have sex with a trans guy who has had bottom surgery is simply unnecessary and rude. It’s like saying “i’d never have sex with a guy with a small penis” — you might think it in your mind and maybe have a general desire for guys 6” or more, but going around admitting you’re a size queen is not pretty. Hope this helps!
Kindly, BuilTABear

@eactherapyllcmentioned you in a comment: Had the great pleasure of speaking with @cubsoutloudabout “Authenticity”. Stay tuned for more information! #authenticty #brenebrown #therapy #vulnerability #psychotherapy #courage #empathy #compassion
@acruz197421 commented: Wishing you all and your families a Merry Christmas as well as a joyous New Year.
By Berty Bertface: Great show again guys. Being authnetic is the fastest way to know who your people are and those that aren’t. Not everyone has to like you and not everyone will. People pleasing only attracts users. This in no way advocates being horrible to anyone, just be open, honest, and extrememly mindful of own heart and who you choose to give it to.
By dindin mooshi: I have to say i rolled my eyes when i read the title of this episode but i’m glad i watched, i disagree on some points on the concept of authenticity based on the definition mentioned because it sounded like “in a perfect world” type of a statement, and I don’t believe saying it’s a “choice” is fare because then other factors come to play like age, time and social status, nonetheless it’s an interesting topic, and i like it when ED is around. P.S. Garry laughs like Nicki Minaj, it’s giving very much roman revenge, and the answer is YES to that question Garry ️
By Berty Bertface: It’s a real shame that the there are adults who continuously refuse to think rationally and with compassion until it’s too late. And they’re not only rolling the dice for themselves but every single person they are in close proximity to. Selfish is as selfish does i guess? Hang in there guys the vaccine is coming, sadly only for COVID and not for stupidity.
In this episode of Cubs Out Loud, it’s our What’s Going On for the month of January. From car troubles to new jobs, the guys share their going-ons for the first month of the new year. In addition, a discussion of credit history, the Dolly Parton challenge, and some Star Trek/Star Wars love.

Jeff: Renting a Car isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Damon: Back to the Grind

Re: COL535: The Santa Fantasy – Jay Yospa: A couple of observations: not growing up Christian I could be wrong, but I think in the song I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, Santa in this instance isn’t the real Santa but how kids see Santa-which is their Dad in costume. So Mom isn’t poly, she’s kissing her husband in his Santa suit. After all, Dad (and Mom) are ones really putting the presents under the tree. (I hope I’m not shocking anyone with this revelation). Also for movie Santas, it’s tough to beat ex-pro wrestler Goldberg as Santa in Santa’s Slay. A fun, but silly horror movie worth, if nothing else, watching the first scene from.

Re: COL418: Handsome vs Sexy – Berty Bertface: Damon hit the nail on the head, handome could mean “physically you are wow and i want to know more”, sexy could mean “you’re hot, lets fxxk”. At least for me.
Re: COL450: Gay Genetics – Berty Bertface: Interesting show. Being a gay man has not been as easy as most of my hetero friends. Society made it seem wrong so there was shame, guilt attached to my younger self. Where i see science stepping in would be parents choosing to alter genetic code to avoid homosexual children. For me the question is, because there is not anything wrong with us so why changes us?
Re: COL537: What’s Going on December 2019 – Berty Bertface: Happy New Year guys! Thanks for all of your hard work. Cheers
Re: COL503: Gayming Characters – Berty Bertface: 1:19:53, Gary spoke about ai. If ai is to be as close to us (humans) as possible, could ai develop sexuality, gender roles etc? Then evolve to develop the need to bond with other ai, and eventually form hetero, gay, bi etc. ai? Sexual orientation is a fundamental component of our identity, so ai may need this too? As far as gayming is concerned for me, am gay and not bothered if my avatar is a trans-biscuit so long as i can achieve my goal completing the objective.
Re: COL538: 2019 Year in Review – Berty Bertface: Another great podcast/video guys. Especially Gary’s piece towards the end of the show. Comparison is the thief of joy, no one I’ve known has ever had it all worked out. I believe there is no harm in the admiration of another but be cautious when comparing yourself to them. I hope you guys fullfill your plans for 2020, chin-chin.
Re: COL472: Giving/Taking . . . Compliments – Berty Bertface: All three of you are pretty fxxking awesome. Take that as you will.
Re: COL471:Where is the body? – Berty Bertface: Not sure anyone is completely fine with their bodies, but it is what it is. It makes me sad to hear about anyone feeling shame towards themselves. My first crush/awakening happened during school, during gym class. I am medium build, he was the big kid in the class/school. Absolutely gorgeous person inside and out. We were friends but i always wanted desperately to tell what he truely meant to me. I am certain many larger men are not aware of their secret admirers, but i wish for this to change so we can all enjoy ourselves and each other.
