COL509: Are We Selling Out?

In this episode of Cubs Out Loud, the guys engage in a conversation on a tough question: Are we as a community “selling out”? With Pride Month coming soon as well as the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall riots, the cubs ask some hard hitting questions. Have we become complacent with the recent wins in the LGBT movement and that we have started to become mainstream? Who is educating our youth of the struggles and has this lack of education affecting their engagement?

  1. Another spectacular episode! Heavy stuff. Thank you for raising the issues surrounding abortion and personal choice rights, especially regarding how it impacts cis-men. As a bi/pansexual cis-male, with partners (of any gender) who can get pregnant, the right to an abortion absolutely improves my life as well. An unexpected and unwanted pregnancy might not be feasible for either of us. That said, I’m absolutely on side with your-body-your-choice. Just reiterating reasons for those of us who can’t get pregnant to support the cause as well.
