What is…PRIDE?
Discussion of what ‘PRIDE’ means in 2019. It’s been nearly 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, one of the events that launched the modern LGBTQ rights movement. Is pride about advocacy? What of activism? And what if you’re not proud?
In this episode of Cubs Out Loud, the cubs celebrate the tenth anniversary of the podcast. That’s right! In 2008, a group of guys were brought together and COL was born. Since then, the show has had several co-hosts, guests, topics, and a whole lot of fun! As the guys reminiscence on the shows of COL past, learn a little more about the history and what’s in the works for the future. It’s a decade of dubious debauchery.
Pilot show posted back on Thursday 1/17/08. And now we’ve recorded 658 episodes to date! That’s 448 regular episodes, with 16 special/alternate shows, 135 COL Movies episodes, 15 COLTV shows, plus 44 episodes of COL Drag Race ‘T-Time’. PLUS 6 Random Acts of Cubiness… Whew!
In this episode of Cubs Out Loud, Damon is glamping it up while the guys welcome virgin guest, Smashy! They talk about the importance of personal safety when it comes to hook ups. But are we overreacting to some idea of stranger danger? Or is there a legitimate concern when it comes to tricking; whether at home, an event, or a bath house? See if you agree with their thoughts in today’s PSA show.
Ches’ comment re: COL419: This is How We Genetically Role
“Identification/description in app profiles may typically get reduced to top/bottom/versatile, but it doesn’t take much to flesh things out and present a much more accurate picture of our preferences. For example, in mine, I have had the following blurb on the subject for years:
“Primarily dom/top, but will consider bottoming for suitably impressive alpha-male types and/or subbing for experienced leathermen.”
And that covers both fucking AND perverted stuff. The biggest component is honest self-examination. Everything flows from there…”
In this episode of Cubs Out Loud, it’s another Let’s Talk About Sex! We are joined by special guests Hadrian and Uncle Pete to talk about food and sex. Is it a sensual aspect that enhances the play or just a hot, sticky mess?
In this episode of Cubs Out Loud, the cubs have an interview with Dylan Thomas Good, the author of WOOF from Bear Bones Books. In this intriguing story regarding two exes, a $25,000 proposition, and video cameras, listen in as Mr. Good tells the tale of his writing process.
Jake / EEcub: TBRU actually had a pup room on their official event schedule this year and maybe has the “first” title on that. Glad to see Drenched Fur fostering that crossover as well though! I’ve had an interest in it for quite a few years, but thought the prospect of trying to break into basically a wholly separate community a bar too high, so this (hopeful) trend is exciting to me (and I’m guessing other bears by how much more pup exposure I’ve seen lately) Anyway, thought I’d chime in on that and leave my first COL reply. Love the show 🙂

pony boner: A half chubbed erection, stimulated by the ever tightening jambayala that sometimes occurs while sitting down. Generally happens in a sitting situation with some subtle vibration (driving on a bumpy road) when your pants jumble up and your Weiner comes restricted and thus forms a chubby pushing against your pants.
Frig duuude you gotta stop driving so I can deal with this pony boner.
Me n the Bros went offroading and I got the biiiiggest pony bone.
