As everyone has probably heard, this weekend is the Pride Parade and Festival here in lowly Austin, TX.  The 7th Annual AGLCC Pride Parade is this Saturday, June 14 and starts at 8:30 PM from Auditorium Shores.  The Festival is at Auditorium Shores the same day from noon to 7:00 p.m. Advance tickets are $10, $15 at the gates.   Alas, I’m going to be gaming and I won’t be able to go.  You should be able to see Timcub and Kudzucub so keep an eye out.  I expect a full report from them on the next COL.  For more information check out http://www.austinprideparade.org/ and http://www.pridetexas.org/.

But wait, there’s more!  Boston is also having pride THIS WEEK.  It is running from Friday, June 6th to Sunday, June 15th.  They have festivities all through Boston ending with the Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday.  The Parade starts at Noon and the Festival is open from Noon to 6pm.  Find more information about all the Boston Pride Event at http://www.bostonpride.org/.

Capital Pride is also going on this week, June 6th through June 15th.  Saturday is the Capital Pride Parade starting at 6:30pm.  The Celebrity Grand Marshall this year is none other than Bruce Vilanch.  Sunday from 11am-6pm is the 33rd Annual Capital Pride Festival.  Don’t miss out on that.  Find more information at http://www.capitalpride.org/.

Also this weekend in Memphis, TN is the Mid South Pride.  The Parade starts at 4pm Saturday.  The Parade Will Start At First Congregational Church (1000 South Cooper) And Travel Down South Cooper To Peabody Park For The Pride Festival.  The Festival runs from Noon to 8pm on Saturday as well.  Find out more information at http://www.midsouthpride.org/.

What’s everyone in Portland doing this weekend?  How about the Portland Pride festivities.  The Pride Parade will start at 11:00 am on Sunday, June 15th and the Festival will be running Saturday from Noon to 11pm and Sunday from Noon to 6pm.  For more information, check out their website at http://www.pridenw.org/.
