I would be remiss in my duties as a Board Member of the Houston Area Bears if I did not introduce you to BEARWATCH. For you Texas locals, this is a bear “run” held every year in May on Galveston Island. Many new changes have been implemented, and this event keeps getting better and better each year, despite being a comparatively small event. More rooms have opened up at the host hotel Inn At The Waterpark, but registrations for the event are going rapidly.  Check out the Bearwatch web site for registration info and more details about the weekend’s activities.
