COL352: Stealing Arthur Interview

In this episode of Cubs Out Loud, Jeff and Gary have an interview with Joel Perry, the author of Stealing Arthur from Bear Bones Books. Did you know that in 2000 someone stole 55 Oscars? Well Joel did and he wrote a fun fictional novel about what might have happened with a dynamic cast of characters and those missing awards.

Getting caught up, currently listening to COL:345 and it’s made me think of a question I have for the hosts…

Are there any listeners who have met, in person, all of the current hosts of COL?

I’ve met Jeff (once) and Damon (twice), and I’ve been in Gary’s presence (twice) but didn’t realize it because when I’m at a run, I am oblivious to my surroundings.

Urbandictionary with Gary

A cool common male name, meaning “bear-like,” believed to possibly be descended from the Roman surname Artorius (“plowman”) or the Celtic bear-goddess Artio or more probably from the Celtic word artos (“bear”).  Known from King Arthur, the legendary British ruler, therefore often used, if somebody is very strong.

“How could you manage to take this stuff? You must be an Arthur.”
