BEARWATCH 2008 – Booty Call!

I would be remiss in my duties as boardmember of the Houston Area Bears if I did not start diligently reminding you of Bearwatch 2008 – BOOTY CALL. Every May bears from all over converge on Galveston Island for a great weekend of food, fun, and yes, the legendary Pool Party. We’ve moved our bar night on Friday to Groove Lounge, and have brought back cocktails during the legendary Bear Pool Party.Even if group “activities” aren’t your thing, there’s lots to do – and certainly more to watch.  This even has gotten better and better over the past years, mainly due to the leadership and vision of the Bearwatch Committee, and more specifically, the Committee Chairman (you know who you are).

The hotel for this year, as with last year, is the Inn At The Waterpark. Registration info, hotel booking info, etc. can all be found at the Bearwatch web site. Trust me, this is a small but fun event that people are really buzzing about. Even our own Nard on Bearpodcast has a cool commercial about it, featuring yours truly and the cast of characters that make up the Bearwatch committee.
